Thom Keehan

Founder and Managing Partner

Thom has a unique background in the design and launch of enterprise-wide business systems that is both broad and deep.

He has vast experience working globally and in a wide range of industries always focusing on employing his comprehensive background of Lean Six Sigma and problem solving as he leads business recovery, turnaround, and transformation. 

He has held positions in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Banking within the Appliances, Plastics, Corporate, Capital, and Transportation divisions of GE as well as three Joint Ventures. He has held executive positions in GE, Johnson Controls, Tenneco, and Daikin. Within his consulting business, Thom re-engineered various functions while acting as interim executive. 

He holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia, is a graduate of GE’s prestigious Edison Engineering Program and Advanced Courses, and is a certified Master Black Belt.


Rodney McLean

Rodney McLean

Rodney is a leader in enterprise continuous improvement and business transformation strategy and execution.

He has successfully delivered financial performance improvement across multiple fortune 500 companies. His passion for solving complex business problems and advancing organizations to achieve best-in-class performance has established him as a trusted business partner to senior leaders across global organizations.

With deep practical and strategic experience in Finance, IT, Commercial Operations, Manufacturing, Lean, Six Sigma, Business Transformation and Continuous Improvement Methods, Rodney has held leadership roles at GE (Plastics, Water, Commercial Finance), PwC, AIG, Johnson Controls, and Tenneco.

Rodney holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Executive Education in Finance from Northwestern University, Master Black Belt certification, and Kepner Tregoe Problem Solving certification.


Les Williams

Strategic Advisor


Les Williams, a Certified Risk Manager (CRM), is Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Risk Cooperative, an innovative strategy, risk, and advisory firm.

Risk Cooperative specializes in creating solutions for emerging risks such as cyber liability insurance, political risk insurance, and other complex domestic and global challenges. The firm also assists clients with common risk needs, such as employee benefits and business insurance. He is a featured “Risk Insider”, and his monthly columns appear in the publication Risk & Insurance. In 2020 Les was recognized in this publication as a 2020 Power Broker for Specialty Lines, and he has appeared as a professional contributor in The Institutes’ CPCU online risk management curriculum. Les is a member of the Cybersecurity Strategic Council for the Private Directors Association (PDA).

He was raised in Alexandria, VA and attended the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. After high school, Les attended The University of Virginia's Rodman Scholars Engineering Program and graduated in 2000 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. At Graduation, Les was one of two students given the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award for outstanding contributions to Student Life during his tenure at UVA. After UVA, Les was an engineer with Ford Motor Company in Detroit working on the engine programs for the Lincoln LS.

In 2003, Les enrolled in Harvard Business School where he served as Class Co-President. He continues his involvement by serving as an admissions volunteer and he also served on the HBS Global Alumni Board from 2010-13. In 2020 he received the Bert King Award for Service for his support of HBS Admissions.

Before joining Risk Cooperative, Les held positions in firms in Atlanta (IBM, JLL) and Washington, DC (Landon Butler, LiveSafe, SoHookd). Les enjoys traveling, biking, weightlifting, and reading. He serves as a trustee of the UVA Engineering Foundation, a member of the UVA Alumni Association Board of Managers, an associate adjunct professor at the UVA Engineering School, and an advisory board member of Monoc Securities, a consulting firm providing resources to companies within the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). 


Bob Leistensnider

Executive Consultant


Bob brings to Enterprise Kaizen over 35 years of experience helping people increase their operations and organizational performance. 

His career has included roles within General Electric Company, Genworth Financial (formerly GE Financial Assurance), healthcare industry at Merck and GSK , APTIV, and Daikin Applied Americas.

Bob is a Certified Master Black Belt and a passionate operational excellence professional that is well versed in Six Sigma, Lean, and GE's Change Acceleration Program. While at GE Financial Assurance, Bob was one of the pioneers of developing and executing a lean transaction program at GE. He has served in leadership roles encompassing procurement, quality, manufacturing engineering, ISO 9000 program roll-out and execution, program management, and lean six sigma roll-out and engagement. Bob thrives on helping others hone their skills in driving operational simplification, efficiency, and performance improvement aligned with organizational goals. 

After leaving GE, he was responsible for the roll-out out of the lean six sigma program at the global sales and marketing organizations for Merck Vaccine and Infectious Disease. Internationally, Bob has facilitated the roll-out of operational excellence initiatives since 1989 across Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Eastern Europe & Middle East. In his most recent role with Merck, he lived in Switzerland for 4 ½ years supporting the Emerging Markets with the integration of Merck and Schering Plough, development and execution of the commercial portfolio optimization and simplification, and growing the top line while reducing the bottom line for the region through accelerated new product registrations and launches while improving delivery of products to the customers. Most recently Bob has worked to develop and execute enterprise operational excellence, strategy development and execution, performance monitoring, and management routines at both APTIV and Daikin Applied.

Bob received his BSME degree from the University of Hartford.


Manny Baerga

Executive Consultant


Manny is a successful coach who has worked extensively with top tier companies to develop enterprise strategies that deliver quantifiable results.

Manny uses a hands on approach with his client partners and emphasizes his expert executive coaching skills to foster connection, development, and outstanding enterprise growth.

Manny excels at strategic thinking and has expertise in leading transformations, loss analysis, root-cause problem solving, and high-performance continuous improvement teams across operations and other functions. He is an accomplished Lean Six Sigma and Operations Executive with 20 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, strategy, service, customer service, and business transactions.

Manny has demonstrated his keen ability to successfully marry voice of the customer with business processes that lead to enterprise wide change. He has held leadership roles at General Motors, The Boeing Company, WR Grace & Co, WW Grainger and more recently with TransCare Corporation. He was an advisor to leaders in government institutions such as the Housing and Urban Development Agency, The National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

Always a team player, Manny represented Puerto Rico in the Colt Baseball League World Series and Pan American Games and was a two sport student athlete at Purdue University in baseball and volleyball. He is a Certified Marshall Goldsmith Coach, Stakeholder Centered Coaching Methodology and has participated in Global Kaizen events while at Boeing where he worked with Shingijutsu Consultants. He is a former Lean Enterprise Institute Faculty Member. Manny is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership and proudly serves as a volunteer for the Junior Achievement Organization.

Manny is originally from Puerto Rico, a native Spanish speaker, and a graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management and a minor in Industrial Engineering.

He is a strategic advocate who draws from his many years of experience at General Motors, Harley Davidson, Delphi, and Johnson Controls to help teams more easily maneuver transformational changes within their organizations.

A visionary leader, Mahmood has a proven ability to successfully guide cross-functional teams through the entire product life cycle - concept to post production.

He is an innovative product development leader driven by VOC (Voice of the Customer) and strategic technology plan.

His wealth of expertise includes: Innovative Business Process Improvement, Operational Excellence, Cross-functional Teams Leadership, Manufacturing Operations Management, New Product Development OE and Aftermarket, Strategic Technology & Business Planning, Program Management, Phase Gate and Agile Methodologies, Cost, Budget & Change Management, Quality Control, and Product Testing & Reliability among others.

Mahmood attended New Mexico State University and graduated with BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering.
